Grayson County Health Department received notice on 6/30 that the department was a recipient of an $150,000 grant to expand testing to vulnerable populations in Grayson County. This is the second year in a row that GCHD has received this grant.
"On behalf of the Kentucky Department for Public Health, Division of Epidemiology and Health Planning, I am pleased to inform you that your Local Health Department has been selected as a grant recipient for the FY22 ELC Testing and Outreach Mini-Grant program. Each ELC Mini-Grant recipient will receive a $150,000 allocation..."
Funds will go to continue testing at the health department as well as to purchase items approved to conduct such testing.
